Water Confidence builds Life Confidence: Water Babies’ Award-Winning Swim Programme

Water Babies is more than just swimming lessons – it’s a life-changing experience for little ones and their families. Our carefully designed programme builds water confidence and aquatic skills throughout your little ones first five years, laying the foundation for lifelong safety, independence, and fun in the water.

Our immersive and imaginative programme, Oceans of Imagination, transports little ones to a magical world where they meet the Swimvincibles – playful superheroes on a mission to share water confidence and swimming skills with babies and toddlers. Through our exciting water quests and reward system, children are incentivised to progress while learning the value of swimming.

You’ll love nothing more than seeing their progression as your baby moves from fun floating, kicking and splashing to swimming independently as a toddler. And not only will they develop key aquatic skills, they’ll also gain vital safety knowledge including how to swim to the side and climb out independently, to keep themselves safe.

Our passionate and highly qualified teachers are experts in baby swimming and child development, committed to nurturing confident, independent swimmers while fostering physical, intellectual, and emotional growth.

Water Babies delivers more than lessons; it’s a journey that builds life confidence while creating lasting memories for families.

We run swim lessons for babies & toddlers from 10 weeks to 3 years old, 7 days a week in our own onsite swimming pool, kept at a balmy 33°C. This is the perfect place for parents to further develop the bond with their baby in the water whilst teaching them a life skill at the same time.

Our main focus is for children to learn how to swim but we also recognise the importance of the whole experience from the moment you walk in the door to the time you leave the centre. Comfort & safety are key and the entire centre has been designed around the needs of parents and babies, making it unique in every way.

We have a customer-only cafe where parents can relax and connect with others before or after their class creating a social hub. Enjoy barista coffee and tasty snacks in our cafe that also has feeding high chairs, comfortable adult seating, free WIFI and bottle feeding stations.

Our heated changing rooms have 8 spacious cubicles to change in and all have baby change wall units. There is also a family size changing space with shower facilities onsite.

We are located at the Beacon South Quarter in Sandyford and are opening a new school in Santry, North Dublin, in January 2026.

Clever Little Handies offers Ireland’s only baby sign classes, introducing families to baby sign from birth to age two in a fun, relaxed and supportive environment. Each class blends baby sign with songs, rhymes and play, helping parents communicate with their babies long before speech develops.

Baby sign bridges the communication gap during a baby’s preverbal months, reducing frustration for both baby and parent. Families often report earlier communication, fewer tantrums, and a deeper sense of connection as their baby can express needs such as milk, more, or all done long before they can speak. The classes also nurture early language development, fine motor skills and social interaction through sensory-rich, baby-friendly activities.

These classes go beyond learning signs, they help parents feel more confident, calm and connected. Many join to meet other parents, easing the isolation that can come with early parenthood.

With a warm, welcoming atmosphere and easy-to-learn signs, Clever Little Handies equips parents with lifelong communication tools while strengthening the parent-baby bond. It’s a class where communication grows, confidence blossoms, and little hands learn to express big feelings.
