What are the 2 types of nappies?
Ultimately, there are only two kinds of nappies: reusable and disposable.
What size will I pack in my hospital bag?
Size 1 would fit most babies as they fit 4lbs – 11lbs.
Lupilu new-born nappies have been voted ‘Best Nappy’ by the public at this year’s Pregnancy and Baby Fair Awards!
That is a prestigious award because it real parents voting, real mums and dads trying and testing these products!
Here’s what Lidl have to say about the product: “Lupilu range offers absorbent and dry protection with Magical Air Tubes and Fast-Dry System.”
How many nappies will we need?
In the first 48 hours, your baby is likely to have only 2 or 3 wet nappies.
From day 5 onwards, wet nappies should start to become more frequent, with at least 6 heavy, wet nappies every 24 hours.
When do I change the nappy?
If your baby is often dirty after a feed, to avoid the disturbance of having to change their nappy twice, it would be better to change the nappy after the feed. If your baby has reflux, they may vomit if they are moved too much with a full tummy, so you might like to change them before a feed.
Should I wake baby to change nappy at night?
You don’t need to wake your baby up to change their nappy at night. But when they wake up for a feed, take the opportunity to change them. Otherwise, your baby may wake up again later because they’re uncomfortable.
How will I know if the nappy is too small?
Look out for the leaking. The bigger the nappy, the better its absorbency. If you notice your baby’s nappy suddenly doesn’t last like it used to, sizing up usually resolves the problem.
Red marks around tummy and thighs. If your baby shows signs of being uncomfortable in their nappy or suddenly sweat around the waistband.
Lupilu’s Midi Nappies assure your baby gets 12 hours of dryness while letting the skin breathe. These extra thin and flexible nappies from Lidl are breathable and have an additional dry layer to ensure that your baby has ultimate protection without any leakage.
